نقلت وكالة الأنباء العمانية عن الشرطة أن “الجناة الثلاثة المتورّطون في واقعة إطلاق النار بمحيط مسجد بمنطقة الوادي الكبير من الجنسية العمانية”.
وأضافت: “الجناة أخوة لقوا حتفهم نتيجة إصرارهم على مقاومة رجال الأمن، وقد دلت إجراءات التحقيقات والتحريات بأنهم من المتأثيرين بأفكار ضالة”.
وتعد الواقعة اختراقا أمنيا نادر الحدوث في واحدة من أكثر الدول استقرارا في الشرق الأوسط.
