حرصًا منها على مكافحة الفساد وصون المال العام، أوقفت المديرية العامة لأمن الدولة – مكتب مرفأ بيروت، مسؤولَين في المرفأ بعد توفر معطيات عن فقدان مبلغ 42 ألف دولار أميركي من الخزينة العامة بدل إيجارات. وخلال التحقيقات، أقرا بتحمّلهما المسؤولية الإدارية عن ضياع المبلغ.
أجري المقتضى القانوني بحقهما بناء لإشارة القضاء المختص، وأُلزما بإعادة المبلغ إلى الخزينة العامة.
