كشف المتحدث باسم الجيش الإسرائيلي أفيخاي أدرعي، اليوم الأربعاء، أنّ “عددًا من المشتبه فيهم اقتربوا في وقت سابق من اليوم الى السياج الأمني على الحدود مع لبنان وحاولوا المساس في منطقة العائق الأمني”.
واشار أدرعي الى أنّ “قوات جيش الدفاع رصدتهم مباشرة واستخدمت وسائل لإبعادهم”، لافتًا الى أنّ “هوية المشتبه فيهم غير معروفة”.
وشدد الجيش الإسرائيلي على أننا “سنواصل العمل لمنع أي خرق لسيادة إسرائيل والمساس بالسياج الحد
